Agreed that they're smart. Unfortunately, like the bankers who caused the economic collapse (who are also educated and very smart), they didn't anticipate this disaster and weren't prepared for it.
I agree. Thank you for your comment. Sadly, it looks as though BP is getting greedy by trying to manipulate coastal residents to settle with them, before the extent of the damage is fully known. Bah!
